Joining the Mitigation Directorate within FEMA's Office of Resilience offers an exciting opportunity to become part of a team that builds and delivers creative solutions to empower communities to become more resilient and adaptable to intensifying hazards to reduce disaster suffering. In the Program Analyst role, you will contribute to this mission by providing data-informed solutions and coordination activities for Hazard Mitigation programs.Qualifications:

To qualify for this Program Analyst position at the IC-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:

  1. Utilizing cloud and relational databases, such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS, Azure, Tableau, and PowerBI.
  2. Monitoring progress, providing advice and/or recommending program management initiatives.
  3. Analyzing, evaluating and facilitating programs and/or process effectiveness.
