Overview

Inn at Bay Harbor is a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel nestled on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. It is a place and experience that is Exactly Like Nothing Else.

As a Fitness Instructor at the Inn at Bay Harbor, you will be responsible for leading public fitness classes for both our local and hotel guests. The Fitness Instructor is a professional with extensive experience in the fitness field and holds all current certifications. You must possess excellent customer service skills to provide the highest quality environment and instruction that will meet the needs of our guests. 


Responsibilities
  • Be on time for your shift and perform sessions with total focus on safety, attention, and timeliness. 
  • Provide consistent professional fitness class instruction in accordance with accepted certification practices. 
  • Design and implement workout plans or programs. 
  • Ensure that classes are safe, enjoyable, and cater to varying fitness levels. 
  • Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the spa's needs. 
  • Have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Report any safety concerns or malfunctioning equipment to management. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and certifications to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.
