  • 8:30am-12:00pm

  • 12:00pm-3:00pm

Summary

We are seeking energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic Camp Counselors to join our team for the 2026 Summer Camp season. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, positive, and high-energy environment for our campers. You will lead groups, facilitate sports and recreational activities, and ensure a memorable, active summer experience for children of various ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, continuous supervision to campers during all activities, transitions, and snack/lunch periods.
  • Enforce safety protocols strictly, ensuring all campers follow pool/court safety guidelines.
  • Manage daily camper check-ins and check-outs at designated loops, verifying parent/guardian photo IDs against authorized pickup forms.
  • Facilitate and actively participate in a variety of camp activities, including multi-sport games, arts & crafts and tennis play.
  • Bring a high level of enthusiasm, positivity, and sportsmanship every day to keep campers engaged and motivated.
  • Help set up, maintain, and pack away athletic equipment and camp supplies daily.
  • Communicate operational updates, behavioral concerns, or scheduling changes directly to the Camp Director in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow counselors and directors to maintain smooth daily transitions and a cohesive camp culture.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children (coaching, babysitting, camp environment, or teaching) is highly preferred.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be comfortable spending long periods standing, running, and playing sports on indoor courts. Ability to participate actively in physical activities alongside campers.

  • Flexible availability to align with camp hours, including early morning drop-off coverage (starting at 8:30 AM) and afternoon pick-ups (through 3:00 PM).

  • First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to the camp start date) is a plus. Must pass mandatory background and reference checks.
