Description

The Counseling Service of Addison County (CSAC) is seeking a Medical Director to join our community mental health practice. This is a unique opportunity to develop and participate in innovative practice models in a small-town Vermont setting.


CSAC is a recognized leader in adopting promising practices such as Open Dialogue, peer based crisis support alternatives, and innovative applications of trauma informed systems work. We value contextualized, relational psychiatric practice integrated within a dynamic, collaborative, and team-oriented environment. Every day here is different! We take pride in our unique approach to building connections, strengthening communities, and fostering meaningful professional practice.  


The Medical Director provides leadership to the Psychiatry team and collaborates with a wide variety of colleagues to support high quality client care at all levels of the organization. The responsibilities can be somewhat flexible, depending on your interests and experience, but would include some combination of clinical supervision, direct client care, ensuring compliance with relevant state regulations, acting as liaison to community partners, and advocacy.  This position could be part-time or full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of psychiatry in Addison County!   Full-time salary starting in the range of $200K-$235K.
