Job description

Department: Food amp; Beverage
Reports To: Food amp; Beverage Director
Employment Type: Part-Time/Seasonal
Job Overview:
This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service to members and guests by providing beverages and snacks on the course and assisting with bartending duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive and operate the beverage cart on the golf course, providing prompt and friendly service to members and guests.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Club standards and state regulations.
  • Stock and maintain inventory on the beverage cart and at the bar.
  • Member transactions and ensure accurate point-of-sale entries.
  • Engage with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Monitor member consumption of alcohol and follow all responsible service guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the beverage cart, bar area, and equipment.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with bar duties during tournaments, special events, or high-volume shifts.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or member concerns to the supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in bartending, food amp; beverage, or customer service preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age (based on state alcohol service laws).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, drink recipes, and responsible service practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
Education and Special Requirements
  • Complete Clubs Alcoholic beverage certification training.
• Is of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • A minimum of one year in a bartending or previous beverage cart experience preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must often work in a warm and humid or cool and breezy outdoor environment.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach, walk, stand, stoop, climb stairs, balance and/or crouch.
