Primary Responsibilities:

· Serve and clear food and beverages in accordance with the Club’s established service standards.

· Develop thorough knowledge of the menu to confidently answer questions regarding ingredients, preparation methods, and cooking techniques.

· Maintain a basic understanding of the Club’s beverage program, including beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic selections.

· Accurately utilize the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for order entry and payment processing.

· Set and reset restaurant tables with proper placement of flatware, china, and glassware according to service standards.

· Complete end-of-shift closing duties, including cleaning and restocking restaurant areas to ensure readiness for the following day.

· Attend daily pre-shift meetings punctually to review service updates, menu changes, and operational priorities.

· Perform assigned side work before, during, and after service to maintain smooth and efficient operations.

· Assist with the setup and breakdown of additional Club spaces, including private functions and special events.

  • Ability to greet members and their families by name and advanced knowledge of preferences and allergies

· Communicate professionally, courteously, and respectfully with Club members and guests.

· Attend and actively participate in scheduled trainings and menu tastings (e.g., wine education, service training).

· Carry out additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Required Skills:

Prior experience working in fine dining or upscale food service is preferred not required

Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and cooking methods

Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment

Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Uniform Requirements:

Black, clean, shirt (Provided by SCC)

Black apron (Provided by SCC)

Black slacks/pants (Denim, yoga pants/leggings, or sweatpants are not permitted)

Black belt with a simple belt buckle

Black socks or that go above the ankle

Completely black shoes with subtle/no branding (sneakers are okay but must be all black)

Wine key

Physical Requirements:

Must be able bend and reach for items off shelf, carry trays, and be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8-10 hours

Able to use a touchscreen Point of Sale system
