Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive part time Maintenance Technician to join our team. Hotel maintenance professionals are responsible for keeping a hotel’s facilities, systems, and guest areas in safe, functional, and attractive condition. They perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to guest and staff requests, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Hotel maintenance staff or technicians maintain and repair hotel equipment and facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and outdoor areas. They work to ensure guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction while supporting smooth daily operations

Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Respond to work orders: Address guest and staff requests for repairs or maintenance promptly
  • Routine inspections: Check for safety hazards, leaks, electrical faults, and equipment wear
  • HVAC maintenance: Repair and maintain air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems
  • Plumbing repairs: Fix leaks, unclog drains, replace fixtures, and maintain water systems
  • Electrical work: Troubleshoot outlets, switches, and light fixtures
  • Carpentry & cosmetic repairs: Touch up furniture, adjust hardware, grout tiles, and caulk
  • Preventive maintenance: Perform scheduled tasks like filter changes, lubrication, and inspections
  • Outdoor maintenance: Mow lawns, power wash exterior, maintain pools, clear snow, and keep exterior areas clean
  • Safety compliance: Ensure fire alarms, sprinklers, and emergency systems are operational
