Urgent Opportunity at Mathnasium: Advanced Math Instructor

Are you excited to create a fun and engaging learning environment for students? Do you want to witness the joy of children as they conquer challenging math concepts? At Mathnasium, we are dedicated to teaching children math so they understand, master, and love it. We are seeking highly skilled and enthusiastic Advanced Math Instructors to join our Grand Rapids center. You will work with students of all ages, using our proprietary Mathnasium Method to build their confidence and mathematical understanding. Enjoy a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in your community!

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging mathematical instruction using the Mathnasium Method.
  • Provide individualized support in a small group setting.
  • Encourage and motivate students during sessions.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and fun learning environment.
  • Communicate student needs to the center leadership.
  • Assist with non-teaching tasks as needed.
  • Become proficient with digital educational tools.

Qualifications:

  • Strong math skills, proficient through at least pre-calc.
  • A passion for math and working with students.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and maintain enthusiasm in teaching.
  • Willingness to learn the Mathnasium Method.
  • Reliable and responsible in fulfilling duties.
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA.
  • Background check and math literacy test required.
