Role: School Nutrition Part-time Cook
Education/Experiences:
โ€ข High school diploma/GED preferred or related experience in field.
โ€ข Previous experience and/or certified training in a school or commercial kitchen preferred, but not required.
Summary: To prepare a safe/clean environment in which food is made and distributed. Also, provide exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following, on as needed basis:
โ€ข Prepare and serve food according to nutrition guidelines.
โ€ข Cleaning equipment according to sanitation guidelines.
โ€ข Operation of a commercial dishwasher and other commercial grade kitchen equipment, according to food sanitation and preparation guidelines.
โ€ข Maintaining inventory and stock.
โ€ข Identify reimbursement student meals.
โ€ข Operating our point of sale cash register system.
โ€ข Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervision.
