Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently seeking an exceptional Guest Services Representative for the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Fargo, ND.

**Part-Time: 16-24 hours per week**
**Shift: AM - 7am-3pm OR PM - 3pm-11pm**
**Pay: $16-$18/hr**

As the Guest Services Representative, you will engage with arriving, departing, and in-house guests in a professional and courteous manner by providing accurate and timely information and services. You will respond to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns. Your warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance will assure guests that they have made the right choice in staying with us.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
  • Experience delivering exceptional customer service to both guests and team members.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Prior exposure to hospitality software; experience with Opera software is a plus
  • A genuine interest in hospitality; a desire to make others feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for
  • A collaborative spirit and enjoyment of teamwork
  • Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards is an advantage
  • Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record

As a Guest Services Representative, Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Ensuring compliance with service and productivity standards to achieve optimal guest satisfaction.
  • Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival.
  • Assist with the check-in and check-out processes for guests, as well as any related guest service activities.
  • Promoting “Marriott Bonvoy” guest program and providing recognition and benefits to all current members.
  • Addressing and resolving all guest complaints in a timely manner, following company guidelines.
  • Managing room reservations, Front Office systems, and inventory of supplies.
  • Up-selling rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.
  • Answering telephone promptly and properly while being polite, courteous, and friendly.
  • Perform room inspections, which may require bending, stooping, reaching overhead, and moving throughout guest floors.
  • Operating or assisting with Shuttle or Transportation Service in a timely and courteous manner
  • Performing all duties with a positive attitude focused on hospitality.
  • Carry out other duties as requested, including special requests from guests.
