Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part-Time Clerk (15-24 hours/week) at our Food Store location in Marcelin, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following: 
 Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members' lives with a strong customer-focused approach. 
 Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
 Serve guests, stock products, and face shelves.
 Monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
 Maintain a clean store by tidying shelves, bins, and displays, promptly addressing spills and breakages, and keeping aisles free of debris.
 Operate the point-of-sale system and other electronic devices to process sales.
 Maintain a safe environment while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items, such as wine, spirits, beer, tobacco, lottery, and fireworks.
 Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
 Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are: 
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service and meet the following:
 Must be at least 19 years of age.
 Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work that you do.
 Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
 Attentive to detail with strong cash management skills.
 Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.
 Able to fulfill physical job requirements, including standing, kneeling, crouching, and performing heavy lifting regularly.
 Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
 Able to obtain WHMIS and Serve It Right certifications.
 Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
 Possess a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
