As an Armed Patrol Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving role requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
