Job SummaryThe Production Coordinator - Audio is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of the venue's sound system, ensuring high-quality audio for live events. This role also supports A/V and PA systems, assists with stage and equipment maintenance, and serves as a key liaison between vendors, artists, and crews to ensure seamless event execution. Essential Functions
  • Responsible for set up, operation and maintenance of venue sound system. Operate sound system during shows and confirm that microphones and speakers are functioning.
  • Serve as back-up for A/V and PA systems. Responsible for set up, operation and maintenance of A/V system. Maintain the public announcement system in optimal working condition. Operate PA during shows if Sound Engineer is absent.
  • Venue maintenance including lighting, sound, stage and equipment.
  • Responsible for set up and break down of equipment on stage. Load/unload equipment from trucks and set up equipment according to stage design while ensuring safety requirements are met.
  • May be responsible for production and operations aspects including vendor end-to-end onsite set up: exhibitor registration and follow-up survey.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between vendors, artists, sounds crews, and property management companies in execution of shows and events.
Required Qualifications
  • Prior experience with live sound production, A/V systems, and stage setup preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining audio, PA, and A/V systems; knowledge of stage equipment and lighting.
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform stage maintenance tasks.
  • Strong ability to coordinate with artists, vendors, and crew members.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues under pressure.
Payscale: $22.00 - $22.50 Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements. Benefits: Part-time: This position may be eligible for benefits (ACA qualification).
