As a Security Guard - Part Time Screening in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and document relevant details as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
  • Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, unusual behavior, and/or property-related concerns.
  • Report maintenance issues, hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to property management and Allied Universal leadership according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
