Job Description:

Job Requirements:
  • Provides a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.
  • Prepare daily lesson plans focusing on Indiana Computer Science standards, course objectives, student performance and student assessments. Lesson plans should follow Curriculum guidelines and requirements of the state, district and school.
  • Teaches Technology and Keyboarding courses for Primary and Intermediate School (Grades PK-5) and Middle School (grades 6-8).
  • Develops, implements, and sustains a Grade PK - 8 continuum of standards for science and technology concepts, knowledge and skill development, including digital citizenship instruction.
  • Implements instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
  • Identifies, selects and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
  • Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Communicating with students and parents concerning their progress.
  • Administers frequent formal and informal assessments to monitor student learning. Examples include: classroom exams, homework, projects, classroom discussion.
  • Attends staff development activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by the principal.

Job Qualifications:
Degree in education with a technology concentration (or will obtain by December 2026)
Indiana Teaching License (or will obtain by December 2026)
