As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Alarm Console in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to associates, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
