Job description

Looking for part time reliable workers. Hours ranging from 15-20hours a week. Need to be able to display safe driving skills and strong communication with dispatch/patients. We deal with a range of patients/patients families in different parts of life, you will need to be compassionate and attentive.
Duties
  • Safely operate transit van to transport clients to scheduled appointments.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing support for those with mobility challenges or special needs.
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained in excellent condition through routine inspections.
  • Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and healthcare facilities to confirm schedules and address any delays or issues promptly.
  • Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times.
  • Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading patients from gurneys/wheelchairs in and out of the van with weights  upwards to 500lb while maintaining proper safety protocols.
  • Properly and frequent sanitization and use of appropriate PPE.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage logs, and vehicle inspections.
Qualifications
Must Have
  • Applicants must have a valid and clean California driver's License.
  • Pass a Criminal Background Screening and Sex Offender Registry Search at time of hire and annually thereafter.
  • Pass a Motor Vehicle Records check at time of hire and continuously during employment.
  • Pass a 10-panel Drug Screening at time of hire and continuously during employment.
  • Able to use and follow GPS navigation systems such as Google/ Apple Maps.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers, healthcare providers, and team members.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting passengers or handling equipment.
  • Commitment to customer service excellence with a friendly compassionate attitude and professional demeanor.
  • A cellphone able to perform all functions of the job such as communication with dispatch and using the Bambi Driver App.
  • Live within 10 miles of Chino Hills.
