Welder and Equipment Repair Technician
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder and Equipment Repair Technician to join our diesel shop maintenance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the proper functioning and safety of our equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with welding, compactor repair, and a basic understanding of electrical wiring and hydraulics.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform welding repairs and fabrication on various equipment and machinery
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on compactors and related equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine necessary repairs
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair projects
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in welding and equipment repair, preferably in a construction or industrial setting
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring and hydraulic systems is a plus
