Overview

Cypress Creek Energy is seeking a part-time Community Liaisonย to serve as a local, on-the-ground representative in Wilson, Arkansas. This role is critical toย maintainingย strong relationships with community members, local stakeholders, and project partners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, and skilled at translating complex project information into clear, accessible communication for a broad audience.ย Established relationships within Wilson and the surrounding region are strongly preferred, as this role relies on trust, local knowledge, and community connectivity.ย 

Work Schedule

  • On-site in Wilson, AR officeย and off-stie meetings and events in the regionย 
  • Monday-Thursday:ย 10 AM - 3ย PM (20ย hours/week)ย 
  • Additionalย hours may be availableย and expected, up toย 30 hours per weekย in total.ย May include weekends and evenings.ย ย 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular office hours and serve as the primary point of contact forย local residentsย and stakeholdersย 
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and host in-person meetings with community membersย 
  • Communicate project updates clearly and effectively to non-technical audiencesย 
  • Document stakeholder questions, concerns, and feedback;ย maintainย accurateย records in internal databasesย 
  • Draft and edit content for newsletters, websites, and community communicationsย 
  • Plan and coordinate community events, meetings, and public outreach effortsย 
  • Organize andย facilitateย site tours for stakeholders and partner groupsย 
  • Collaborate closely with construction partners and internal teams to address community concerns promptlyย 
  • Identifyย and escalate potential risks or emerging issues to managementย 
  • Maintain an organized office environment and support general administrative needsย 
  • Performย additionalย duties as assignedย 

Education & Experience Required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with diverse audiencesย 
  • Established relationships and strong community ties within Wilson, Arkansas, and the surrounding region highly preferredย 
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detailย 
  • Ability to explain complex or technical information in a clear, relatable way for general audiencesย 
  • Experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or event planning preferredย 
  • Proficiencyย in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)ย 
  • Strong writing and editing skillsย 
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesย 
  • Professional, approachable demeanor with a customer-service mindsetย

Location: Must be based in or near Wilson, Arkansas, and able to consistently perform work across office, community, and on-site settings.
