Position: Contracts Administrator

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Part Time

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Position Overview

Kreative Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contracts Administrator to support the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts. This role will be responsible for reviewing, preparing, negotiating, and administering contracts and subcontracts while ensuring compliance with applicable federal regulations and company policies.

The Contracts Administrator will work closely with leadership, program managers, business development, finance, and external partners to ensure contracts are properly executed, tracked, and managed throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and administer contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, and other contractual documents.
  • Support the full contract lifecycle including proposal support, negotiation, award, administration, modification, and closeout.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations such as FAR, DFARS, and other federal contracting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate contract records, files, and documentation in the company's contract management systems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including business development, finance, HR, and program management to ensure contract requirements are understood and executed.
  • Track contract deliverables, modifications, option periods, and key milestones.
  • Assist with reviewing solicitations, contract terms, and risk assessments during the proposal phase.
  • Monitor subcontractor agreements and ensure subcontract compliance with prime contract requirements.
  • Support audits and reporting requirements related to contract administration.
  • Identify potential contractual risks and escalate issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Assist with development and improvement of internal contract processes and documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4-10 years of experience in contract administration, government contracting, or a related role.
  • Experience working with federal government contracts.
  • Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a federal contracting environment.
  • Experience supporting IT, cybersecurity, health tech, or professional services contracts.
  • Knowledge of contract lifecycle management systems
  • Experience with subcontract administration.
  • Professional certifications such as: Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)
