Simon & Schuster, a global leader in book publishing, has immediate openings in its Jackson, TN distribution facility.ย  ย 

Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available for Material Handlers to join our Distribution Center in Jackson, TN. These positions will maintain thorough workflows in various departments.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to meet workplace demands
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of employees
  • Ability to work alongside employees and accomplish daily goals
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
  • Ability to remain standing and active for the duration of scheduled shifts
  • Comfortable performing a full range of physical movements, including bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, and climbing
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining safety and productivity standards
  • Order Selector/Forklift experience a plus

Hours:

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30am โ€“ 4:00pm

Part-time: 1st Shift: ย Monday - Wednesday - Flexible between 7:30AM - 4:00PM

2nd Shift: Monday - Wednesday - Flexible between 3:00PM - 11:30PM

Hourly rate ranges: $16-20/hr depending on experienceย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย
