What You'll Do 

Scoopers are at the heart of the Salt & Straw experience, creating memorable moments for guests while helping the shop run smoothly. 

You will: 

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create welcoming experiences for every guest 

• Share flavor stories, offer samples, and help guests discover their next favorite scoop 

• Scoop ice cream, make waffle cones, operate the register, and support daily shop operations 

• Greet guests, answer questions, and help guide the flow of the shop 

• Accurately process transactions and assist with online and delivery orders 

• Prepare products according to recipes and quality standards 

• Restock ice cream, supplies, and retail products throughout the shift 

• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization standards across the shop 

• Support dishwashing, cleaning, and other operational tasks that keep the shop running smoothly 

• Work collaboratively with teammates to create a positive and supportive environment

You're a Great Fit If You: 

• Are 16+ years old 

• Can work evenings, weekends, and holidays 

• Can work at least 3 shifts per week, including 2 closing shifts 

• Enjoy working with people and creating memorable guest experiences 

• Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude 

• Thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy staying busy 

• Work well as part of a team and support those around you 

• Are curious, dependable, and eager to learn 

• Have food service, retail, coffee, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience (preferred but not required) 

• Are comfortable discussing flavors, offering samples, and engaging with guests
