Part- Time | Banquet Bartender
Hourly Compensation: $14.00
BASIC FUNCTION:
The Banquet Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beveragesโ€”alcoholic and non-alcoholicโ€”during banquet events while providing exceptional guest service. This role supports banquet operations by ensuring efficient bar setup, cleanliness, and adherence to all service and safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING amp; EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of bartending experience.
  • At least one year of experience in fine dining, banquet service, or a high-end resort environment.
  • Strong knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and mixology.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. Prepare and serve standard cocktails, specialty drinks, wine, and beer according to banquet order specifications.
  2. Set up, restock, and break down banquet bars; maintain accurate par levels for all bar inventory.
  3. Prepare requisitions and daily orders to ensure bar supplies are fully stocked.
  4. Follow all cash-handling and bank procedures as directed by the Accounting Department.
  5. Complete accurate bar inventories on the 10th, 20th, and last day of each monthโ€”or as requested by the Director of Food amp; Beverage or Banquet Manager.
  6. Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar areas throughout events.
  8. Adhere to dress code and maintain a clean, crisp, and professional uniform at all times.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
1.Assist with any reasonable task assigned by a supervisor or manager.
2.Provide support during guest arrival, including greeting guests and assisting with coat check if applicable.
3.Deliver beverages to banquet tables when needed.
4.Assist other Food amp; Beverage departments as business levels require.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Banquet spaces may range from dimly lit to well-lit, depending on event requirements. Work involves standing for extended periods, handling glassware and supplies, and working on carpeted or hard surfaces, including areas that may occasionally become wet or slippery. Exposure to hot plates, glassware, and busy service environments is expected.
