Overview

The Warehouse Runner is responsible for assisting in venue distribution/warehouse operations, including inventory, receiving, purchasing, ordering, lay-ins, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers, and equipment maintenance. This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule, which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction, and independent decision-making skills are required.

This role pays an hourly rate of $13.00-$15.00

This position will remain open until November 6, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assisting with product receiving and distribution control for the venue. 
  • Receive products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise 
  • Perform transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse. 
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. 
  • Perform physical inventory as needed. 
  • Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures. 
  • Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas. 
  • Fulfills all event expectations, including but not limited to requisitioning during events, post-event breakdown, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation, and maintenance.  
  • Oversee and ensure that appropriate stocking levels are met for each event; rotate and maintain the integrity of product.  
  • Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of concession and utility equipment, portable equipment, burden carriers, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting. Ensure manifested equipment is in location. 
  • Ensure security of company assets. 
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of foodservice/hospitality experience; similar venue experience a plus. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, professional, and courteous manner that fosters a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment. 
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. 
  • Possess a valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by local government. 
  • Possess thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements 
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to product inventory.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. 
  • Must be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. 
  • Able to frequently lift heavy objects.
