We are looking for a Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team!


Description

The Housekeeper maintains the cleanliness of the facility for residents, visitors and employees. Takes pride and ownership in the condition of the facility to ensure that it is a welcoming environment.


What You'll Do

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms and other areas of the facility.
  • Safely mix and use cleaning solutions and store in a secure area.
  • Label and remove infectious waste bags and containers.
  • Ensure punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.
  • Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Conduct, policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff.
  • Knowledge of infection control techniques.
  • Ability to be patient and polite.
  • Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
  • Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Requirements:

All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per state specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.
