OUR CLUB Seattle Reign FC is a prominent professional women's soccer team competing in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). POSITION SUMMARY Seattle Reign FC is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Part-Time Assistant Analyst to support the First Team Technical and Analysis departments. This role is centered on service to coaches and players, delivering accurate, timely, and impactful analysis support within a high-performance environment. We are looking for someone who values accountability, takes pride in their craft, and is motivated to contribute to a culture of competitive excellence. The right candidate will approach the role with humility, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This is a service-driven role requiring precision, urgency, and a commitment to delivering high-quality analysis support to coaches and players.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate closely with the Video Analyst and First Team coaching staff to deliver video and data support aligned with team standards and competitive demands.
  • Record, capture, and code all First Team home training sessions and matches in accordance with established coding structures and timelines.
  • Prepare and edit clips from training sessions, home matches, and selected away matches as directed to support team preparation and player development.
  • Take responsibility for the organization, storage, and timely dissemination of all video and data content to staff and players.
  • Contribute to the opponent scouting process, to include pulling and coding full matches, assisting in clip selection, building large-cut reviews with staff, and preparing team and player-facing presentations.
  • Support defined elements of game day setup and live analysis workflows, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Consolidate video and data into teaching materials that reinforce team principles, tactical identity, and style of play.
  • Identify workflow improvements and surface emerging technologies that enhance the speed, quality, and impact of analysis deliverables, in collaboration with the Head of Analysis.
  • Support both short-term weekly preparation and longer-term performance reporting initiatives.
  • Maintain strong cross-departmental relationships to ensure consistency, alignment, and best-practice methodology.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Performance Analysis, Sport Science, Data Science or related field (or currently pursuing).
  • Experience as a video or data analyst working with coaches and technical staff, filming and coding soccer training sessions and/or matches
  • Experience helping implement or improve performance analysis processes related to data collection, management, and dissemination.
  • Working knowledge of Hudl Sportscode, Hudl Studio, or similar video analysis platforms.
  • Strong understanding of soccer tactics, formations, and principles of play.
  • Ability to operate video cameras and related capture equipment; drone experience or willingness to obtain FAA certification preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with tight turnaround times.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with coaches and staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • This is an in-person position working from Starfire Sports Complex and Lumen Field.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must reside within Washington state upon date of hire.
  • Must be able to facilitate own local travel.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Responsibilities include regular work outdoors and may require standing on feet for long periods of time, as well as some lifting of up to 20 pounds.

COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & PERKS The hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00. Base pay at time of offer will take into account job-related knowledge, skills and experience required for the role, internal equity and market.
