Job Summary
Successfully instruct designated Digital Literacy courses in Workforce Continuing Education.
Digital Literacy courses include Basic Keyboarding, Word Processing Applications, Introduction to Electronic Spreadsheets, and Introduction to Presentation Software.
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree
Must be able to show proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Must be available to instruct in afternoons and evenings
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Microsoft Office Specialist
Instructional experience
Experience creating lesson plans
Essential Functions
Prepare and communicate clear educational objectives while presenting current and accurate course content to the student
Maintain a professional teaching environment
Communicate with Training Coordinator regarding room, media, and copy needs
Maintain control of purchased supplies for class
Provide students with evaluation forms for completion
Other duties as assigned

Frequently moves equipment or paperwork weighing up to 20 pounds
