Job Description
  1. We are looking for an energetic, well-spoken, and enthusiastic Group Fitness Instructor (full-time or part-time) to lead dynamic workout sessions for our intimate group training classes.
  2. Bring energy and motivation to every class.

  6. Support the studio team with tours, sales, and keeping the space clean and organized.

Benefits/Perks
  • You are paid in two ways:
    1. Completed training sessions with clients - Base starts at $20/hr. (if trainer is fully booked) and moves up $35/Hour based on performance.
    2. Bonus (paid out each month) if you train a new client and they sign up ($25/new member).

Primary Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Studio Manager at BODY20.
  • Responsible for 2 hours of outside marketing.
  • Administer InBody evaluations and EMS personal training sessions
  • Attend team meetings and embrace opportunities for growth and education.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of service according to company standards
  • Provide a high level of personalized attention to members
  • Maintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs, and products
  • Instruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques, which may include operating equipment and dynamically moving weights up to 50 pounds
  • Adjust and operate all EMS and Fitness Equipment to BODY20 standards
  • Attend all Fitness Coach-related meetings/Trainings
  • Your job may include a range of other activities at the studio. We're a small family business, which means we work as a team. Expect to be asked to go outside the studio if you are not busy to help market and bring in new clients (more money for you), go to the grocery store to get cleaning supplies, and generally work as a team.
  • You are expected to workout in the gym at least 2 times/week
  • Dress-code:
    • You will wear a visible BODY20 t-shirt every day.
    • Your shorts/pants will be black.
    • Athletic shoes
    • If you wear a hat, it will be a BODY20 hat.

Qualifications
  • Current nationally recognized Accredited Training certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, or similar).
  • 1-3 yrs of previous Personal/Group Training experience (preferred)\
  • CPR/AED certification (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess honesty and personal integrity
  • Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry
  • Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
