The Food Service Associate performs food service functions, including preparation/serving of food items and stocking of supplies. They are responsible for maintaining State & Federal health codes, customer satisfaction and accurate work results that are noticeable by the customer (i.e., food quality, wholesomeness, presentation, merchandising, portion control and maintenance of departmental food standards).
Duties and Responsibilities
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare food products according to established recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
  • Follow all Company Policies and Established Procedures in the deli operation.
  • Perform all regular cleaning and sanitation activities to deli kitchen equipment, floors, mats, walls, hoods, and food storage areas.
  • Keep work and service area in a safe, sanitary, and orderly manner.
  • Provide professional and friendly assistance to customers, vendors, and other Associates.

Requirements
Qualifications
The position requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Experience with food preparation and sanitation procedures.
