Mayo Clinic Patient Shuttle Driver

Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently on a dedicated route in the city of Rochester.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shuttles run 5 days a week
  • 7 hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Ensure the safety of all passengers by adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as answering any questions they may have.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shuttle vehicle.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and passenger needs.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Assist in managing passenger flow during peak times to ensure timely departures.

Qualifications

  • CDL
  • Previous experience in shuttle driving, van driving, or bus driving is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
