Job description

Coaches Needed for Youth Soccer InstructionSince 2004, we have positively impacted thousands of children in New Castle County and we attribute that impact to the dedicated team of coaches. We are are looking to add coaches who are excited about positively impacting children through the game of soccer. Age groups include preschool through elementary age children.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE - Coaches can coach as little as one location per week, or up to every weekday and Saturday mornings. The schedule will remain the same for each season (fall, winter, spring, summer) and coaches can choose to coach additional or fewer locations each subsequent season.
Each session is 30 - 60 minutes long (varying based on age and location). We provide all of the necessary training, equipment and curriculum materials. The compensation is $25 for each session you coach.
What We Look For:Soccer Shots coaches are:
  1. Safety-conscious - their #1 priority is the safety of children under their care.
  2. Caring - they engage with each child through specific and positive affirmation.
  3. Organized - they plan ahead and are systematic in routine. They conduct each session according to the lesson plan and work to maintain appropriate order for the age group.
  4. Responsible - they are committed to doing what is expected of them as the coach and "face" of Soccer Shots.
  5. Energetic - they bring Soccer Shots to life by creating a fun and exciting atmosphere that leads children to smile and participate.

Experience:
Soccer experience is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with the game either as a player or coach will be helpful. A background in elementary education or early childhood education makes a great fit.
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
