Job Details
Christiana Care is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work on 7E. This Surgical Spine and knee and hip replacement unit offers a unique and exciting specialty consisting of a variety of patient populations and experiences. ChristianaCare offers one of the most advanced, cutting-edge spine care programs in the United States. Through our experience and ongoing research, we continue to advance the standard of care to provide the best outcomes for all our spine by providing post operative care. The program includes a 30-bed unit within Christiana Hospital that provides comprehensive care for people suffering from cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine disorders. Conditions treated include degenerative diseases, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, tumors and spinal-cord injuries. Registered Nurses work with PAs and has a dedicated Nurse Practitioner.

Requirements:
  • BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
  • Prefers at least 1-2 years med/surgical experience.
  • BLS required.

Hours:
This is a part-time flex position (40 per pay). Shifts could be a combination of 2 (12) hour shifts of 7 p.m.- 7:30 a.m. and two (8) hour shift of 11 p.m. -7:30 a.m. per pay. Candidates who are interested in 5 (8) hour shifts per pay would have that option available. Requirements include a weekend commitment based upon tenure with ChristianaCare and 2 holidays per year.
Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
