Job description

We are currently seeking a Prep Person to join our Back of House team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the preparation of high-quality ingredients that meet our strict standards. The Prep Person will be responsible for preparing and organizing various cold food items to contribute to the efficient operation of the kitchen. At Chick-fil-A, the Prep Team Member role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, Prep Team Members gain life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. They are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone they serve each day and for ensuring all guests receive signature Chick-fil-A service and food. Responsibilities:


  1. Prepare and portion ingredients according to standardized recipes and guidelines.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation standards.
  3. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of perishable items.
  4. Collaborate with Back of House team members to ensure timely and accurate preparation of food items.
  5. Adhere to all Chick-fil-A policies and procedures, including safety and cleanliness standards.
  6. Assist in inventory management and report any shortages or discrepancies.
  7. Follow proper food handling and storage guidelines to prevent food waste and ensure freshness.
  8. Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting team members as needed.

Qualifications:
