Join a Growing Behavioral Health Team
Ardent Counseling Center is seeking a licensed Child & Family Therapist to join our expanding outpatient mental health practice. We are looking for a clinician who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families while providing high-quality, evidence-based care in a supportive environment.
This position offers scheduling flexibility, administrative support, established referral sources, and the opportunity to build a rewarding caseload without the burden of running a private practice.
Compensation$40.00 to $55.00 per clinical hour
Compensation is based on:Licensure
Clinical experience
Specialty trainingChild and family therapy expertise
What You'll DoProvide individual therapy to children and adolescents
Provide family therapy and parent coaching
Conduct behavioral health assessmentsDevelop treatment plans and measurable goals
Complete progress notes and documentation in the EHR
Collaborate with schools, physicians, psychiatrists, and community providers
Utilize evidence-based interventions including CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Play Therapy techniques, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Family Systems approaches
Participate in clinical consultation and supervision as appropriate
Preferred Clinical ExperienceWe are especially interested in clinicians with experience treating:Anxiety

Qualifications
RequiredMaster's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field
Active Illinois license as:LCPCLCSWLMFTLPCLSWStrong clinical and documentation skills
Preferred2+ years of child and adolescent therapy experience
Play Therapy training
Trauma-informed care experienceExperience working with foster care or child welfare populations
