Professionals in this role assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures, such as angioplasty or stent placement, to diagnose and treat heart conditions. Duties may include monitoring patients, preparing equipment, and supporting cardiologists during procedures. Part-time positions offer flexible hours, which can be ideal for those seeking work-life balance or supplementing their income. Qualifications typically include a nursing degree (RN), a radiologic technologist license, or other allied health certifications relevant to the Cath Lab.
