Job description

Job Title: Catering Server

Location: In-person

Job Type: Part-time

Pranzi Catering & Events is seeking a part-time event server to join our company! Come be a part of our exceptional team and work at some of the nicest wedding and event venues throughout Southern New England.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

EVENT SETUP

  • Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment.
  • Set up food and beverage stations according to event specifications.
  • Ensure all serving areas are clean and presentable before guests arrive.

SERVICE DUTIES

  • Greet guests and provide excellent customer service.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Refill beverages and ensure guests' needs are met throughout the event.
  • Clear used dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations.
  • Handle food and beverages in a sanitary manner.
  • Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to the supervisor.

EVENT BREAKDOWN

  • Clear tables and clean up the event area after the event concludes.
  • Pack up and store equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure the venue is left clean and orderly.

TEAM COLLABORATION

  • Work closely with other catering staff and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

JOB REQUIRMENTS

  • Available on all weekends (shifts are also available during the weekdays)
  • Must have a reliable source of transportation
  • Must have an email address and working cell phone for texting
  • Must be TIPS certified (inquire with)
  • Must be able to stand, carry a tray, and walk for 8 hours or more per shift
