POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, the Le St-Charles private retirement residence will charm you with its exceptional views. Walking trails and landscaped rest areas allow you to fully enjoy the proximity to the river.
Schedule: Full-time, daytime, one weekend out of two.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Managing kitchen employee schedules
Food Services
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
  • Create tasty menus while respecting the expected level of quality and the allocated budget
  • Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
  • Perform inventory duties, receive and store food for the kitchen
  • Perform meal preparation while supervising and mobilizing staff in the kitchen
  • Take inventory of service materials and while adhering to the budgets, proceed with procurement if necessary
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexibility for the work schedule
  • Good team player
  • Experience in a large restoration's volume (an asset)
  • 2 years of experience in high-volume catering
  • Valid MAPAQ certification
