Job description

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Catering Worker, Part-time. This position is scheduled weekdays only 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. NO evenings, NO weekends and NO holidays.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare specific amount of food product according to prep sheets
  • Gather all necessary ingredients and prepare them by washing, chopping, slicing, dicing and assembling
  • Deliver requested foods and beverages to the event location
  • Set up all foods and beverages in a professional appearance and logical manner, ensuring all condiments and service ware are available as needed
  • Ensure all services are cleaned up at the end of the event or requested pick-up time
  • Breakdown all products retrieved from catered events
  • Maintain cleanliness of catering areas and ensure routine cleaning and maintenance of catering vehicles
  • Restock all catering supplies and makes note of any items that need to be ordered
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Other duties as required and assigned

  • Excellent communication and food presentations skills
  • Confident in a corporate setting
  • Customer service focused nature, organized and detail oriented
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to routinely lift 30 pounds
