Description
Responsible for sanitation, cleanliness and operation of the dish room and cafeteria.
Job Duties
  • Demonstrates IWCC's core mission, vision and values
  • Enforce the guidelines, policies, and procedures set by the Food Service Department
  • In charge of the sanitation of all dishes, glassware, catering equipment, pots/pans, small ware, and utensils to be cleaned
  • Responsible for the use of chemicals according to the MSDS and dish machine to ensure that proper procedures are being used and temperatures are being maintained for sanitation measures
  • Responsible for putting away of all dishes, glassware, catering equipment, pots/pans, small wares, and utensils in their proper location
  • Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all tables in the cafeteria
  • Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of all carts on a daily basis
  • Responsible for garbage removal and cleaning of the garbage receptacles
  • Responsible for mopping and cleaning of all spills and debris on the floors of the Food Service department
  • Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all mobile carts in the food service department at all times
  • Responsible for the proper washing and sanitation of catering items to ensure no damage is occurring with these special items
  • Responsible for timely completion of any further cleaning tasks as assigned by FSM or Head Chef
  • Maintain a strong professional relationship with the Culinary Arts department
  • Attend industry-related conferences, workshops and seminars as appointed by the Food Service Manager
  • Immediately report and malfunctioning or broken equipment/small wares to FSM or Head Chef
  • Regular, prompt & reliable attendance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • High school diploma or GED
