Part-Time Graphic Designer & Creative Service Coordinator

Location: Hybrid (In-House & Remote)
Position: Part-Time (Approximately 20 hours per week)

About Us

We are a vibrant nonprofit spiritual community seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Website Coordinator to help communicate our message through engaging visual design and digital media. This position combines graphic design, website management, and the production of promotional materials for our ministries, classes, events, and Sunday services.

Position Summary

The Graphic Designer & Website Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining the visual identity of our organization across print, web, presentations, and marketing materials. The ideal candidate is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent), Canva, WordPress, and Elementor, and has an eye for clean, modern design.

This is a hybrid position requiring both in-office collaboration and remote work.

Primary Responsibilities

Graphic Design

  • Design promotional materials for classes, workshops, concerts, fundraising events, and special programs
  • Create posters, flyers, brochures, postcards, banners, signage, and printed materials
  • Design graphics for ministries, affinity groups, classes, and organizational communications
  • Create visual assets for the social media team to use in their campaigns
  • Maintain a consistent visual brand across all communications
  • Create and schedule our weekly e-letter and daily inspirational reading through mailchimp

Website Management

  • Update and maintain the organization's WordPress website
  • Create and edit pages using Elementor
  • Post upcoming events, classes, blogs, and announcements
  • Ensure website content is current, accurate, and visually engaging

Sunday Service Support

  • Create weekly presentation slides for Sunday services
  • Design Sunday talk graphics and announcement slides
  • Prepare presentation visuals for special services and events

Creative Production

  • Collaborate with staff, ministry leaders, and the social media team on creative projects
  • Maintain organized graphic files, templates, and brand assets
  • Assist with other graphic design and communications projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience in graphic design and visual communications
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or comparable professional design software and Canva
  • Experience with WordPress and Elementor
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and branding
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize projects
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with nonprofits, or community organizations
  • Photography or basic video editing skills are a plus
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms is helpful (mailchimp)
