Core Responsibilities
As Camp Supervisor, you help ensure a safe, well-run camp experience for youth and families in Cortez. This part-time, onsite role supports consistent program delivery and provides steady oversight for staff and participants.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily camp operations, including documentation and record keeping
- Create and organize lesson plans and activity schedules
- Direct and support Camp Counselors as they lead activities and maintain participant safety
- Communicate clearly with parents/guardians and team members
Required qualifications/skills:
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior day care/childcare supervision experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to collaborate well with co-workers, children, and parents
