Join a mission-driven team at UW-Green Bay as a part-time Administrative Services Professional, Business and Government Outreach, where your work directly advances access to education and strengthens partnerships across Northeast Wisconsin. In this dynamic role, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Associate Director and outreach team, helping deliver non-credit trainings, customized workforce solutions, certificate programs, and conferences that empower learners and organizations. Guided by UW-Green Bay's strategic priorities-expanding educational access, fostering community engagement, and driving regional impact-you will play a critical role in ensuring these programs run smoothly and effectively.
This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is energized by technology and service. You will coordinate departmental operations, support program logistics, and serve as a key moderator for virtual training sessions-managing online platforms, supporting presenters, and enhancing participant engagement. Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unitoperations
  • Prepares and audits complex records, edits documents, creates events in registrationsoftware and reviews work done by others
  • Maintains methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures
  • Develops, sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures
  • Serves as a backup to the primary point of contact for individuals and groups, provides organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums
  • Moderates virtual conferences and assists in the training of instructors

Compensation:
Minimum hourly compensation of $17.00. This position is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Required Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and desktop software, virtual delivery platforms, website tools, social media, and the Internet

  • Associate or bachelor's degree
  • Highly organized, flexible, self-directed individual with the ability to navigate complex virtual delivery challenges and develop new innovative approaches

Conditions of Appointment:
Position is a part-time (50%) University Staff appointment. This position will be based out of the Green Bay campus and the selected candidate will work with the position supervisor to set a schedule. This position may have the option to work on-campus or a hybrid schedule subject to approved telecommuting request.
A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s). In addition, if the final selected candidate has prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct will be completed. A six-month probationary period is required for this position. In compliance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act, the University does not discriminate on the basis of arrest or conviction record.

Benefit Details
The Universities of Wisconsin provides an excellent benefits package to meet the diverse needs of its employees. For benefits eligible positions, this includes several health insurance options, with annual deductibles as low as $250/individual and $500/family. We participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), where employer contributions begin immediately, and employees are fully vested after 5 years of service. The Universities of Wisconsin also provides supplemental retirement savings programs including a 403(b) and Deferred Compensation.
In addition, eligible employees receive several types of paid leave benefits, which are prorated for employees working less than 100%. This includes 9 legal holidays, 36 hours of personal holiday and between 96-130 hours of sick leave annually and paid parental leave. Employee Misconduct
