Position Overview:
Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and looking to build your career in the insurance industry? Our team is seeking a part-time Business Insurance Assistant to support our commercial accounts and help us strengthen relationships with local business owners. This role starts in-office with the opportunity to transition into a hybrid or work-from-home schedule based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle requests for Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and Endorsement pages
  • Investigate and follow up on commercial cancellation notices to help retain accounts
  • Prepare and send ENOL (Employer Non-Owned Auto) renewal quotes
  • Follow up on unpaid collection letters to policyholders
  • Communicate with the Business Lines Resource Center to follow up on cases involving additional interests
  • Reach out to small business clients to explore opportunities for personal insurance and set IPS (Insurance and Financial Services) appointments
What We’re Looking For:
  • Someone with a strong attention to detail and a professional, solution-driven communication style
  • Comfortable working with commercial lines and able to manage multiple administrative tasks
  • Prior insurance experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must obtain Property & Casualty license (if not already licensed)
