Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Part-Time Bus Driver to transport students and/or participants to and from field trips, extracurricular activities, and special events. This position offers a flexible schedule and averages around 20 hours per month, making it perfect for retirees, freelancers, or anyone looking to earn extra income with a flexible commitment.
  • Provides safe and efficient transportation for students
  • Observes and obeys all traffic laws and state and federal safety regulations
  • Adheres to District safety and discipline requirements
  • Interacts with students and staff in a positive manner
  • Completes paperwork and reports as required
  • Reports bus mechanical problems
  • Assists in monitoring behavior, situations, and seating while students are on the bus
  • Keeps bus clean and presentable at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of state and federal safety regulations and traffic laws
  • Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to identified mechanical or safety issues
