Job description

TITLE: Part-time Bus Driver
CLASSIFICATION: Bus Driver
EMPLOYMENT: 4 hours per day (as needed) for a maximum of 175 days
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma, G.E.D. certificate or satisfactory progress towards a G.E.D.
  • One year experience in the operation of a motor vehicle.
  •  Must meet the requirements for a criminal record check as specified by Kentucky state law.
  •  Valid Kentucky Commercial Class B. driver's license, including passenger endorsement.
  •  Satisfactory driving record check

JOB GOAL: To operate a school bus over designated routes in accordance with time schedules, pick up and discharge students; provide safe and efficient transportation for District students to and from school, special events and field trips; perform daily inspections and operator maintenance of vehicle; assist in the loading and unloading of physically and mentally disabled students as necessary.
