Job Title: Part-Time Bus Driver & Support Teacher
Part-Time: 12:00pm - 6:00pm or 2:00pm - 6:00pm

Primrose Schools Primrose School of Leesburg
Primrose School of Leesburg is seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic Part-Time Bus Driver & Support Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values safety, and thrives in a collaborative school environment.
The Part-Time Bus Driver & Support Teacher is responsible for safely transporting school-age children from local elementary schools to Primrose School of Leesburg during the school year, driving students on field trips, and assisting with supervision and chaperoning during off-campus activities. When not driving, this team member will support teachers in various classrooms as a Teachers Assistant.
Responsibilities
  • Safely transport children from local elementary schools to Primrose School of Leesburg using the school bus
  • Follow all traffic laws, school transportation policies, and safety procedures
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of children during transportation and field trips
  • Serve as a chaperone during field trips and school outings
  • Assist teachers in classrooms with daily activities, transitions, and supervision
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
  • Support childrens social, emotional, and educational development
  • Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and administration
  • Maintain required records and documentation related to transportation and student safety
Qualifications
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record required
  • Previous experience driving a bus or working with children preferred
  • Ability to actively engage with and supervise children throughout the day
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must meet all state licensing and background check requirements
Schedule
  • Part-time position: 12:00pm - 6:00pmOR 2:00pm - 6:00pm
