Facilities Staff
Job Summary
The Facilities Staff person will be a detailed-oriented person with a heart to serve at Cornerstone Chapel. They will be able to work efficiently in a changing environment. This individual will demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit in all interactions with congregants, volunteers, and staff. He or she will seek to perform all duties as unto the Lord, relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance, and completing all tasks with excellence.
Performance Dimensions and Tasks
  • Ministry Support
  • Custodial support of property and care of all areas of facility interior and exterior
  • Upkeep of property & building maintenance as required
  • Distribute packages to designated areas
  • Maintain and stock supplies and inventory to assigned storage locations
  • Set up and clean up ministry events
  • Support and assist in construction projects and assemble props as needed
  • Participate in vehicle and equipment preparations and maintenance
  • Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and supplies

Job Specifications
  • Age: Minimum age of 16 required; Minimum age of 21 preferred
  • Education: Progressing towards a High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: House Keeping, Landscaping and Irrigation, Building and Vehicle Maintenance
  • Skills/Abilities: Problem Solving skills; Communication skills; Ability to work independently; Ability to follow instructions; Ability to lift heavy objects; Ability to anticipate the needs of others and serve willingly; Ability to work a flexible schedule
