Job description

Position Overview

Mooresville Christian Academy is a thriving, growing Christian school dedicated to academic excellence and spiritual growth.

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to support the upkeep, safety, and appearance of our facilities and surrounding grounds. This part-time role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, functional, and welcoming spaces while responding promptly to routine maintenance needs.

Part-time, 16-24 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair tasks throughout the building and grounds.
  • Inspect indoor and outdoor areas to identify safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or needed repairs.
  • Assist with landscaping duties such as trash removal, lawn care, snow or ice management, and general exterior upkeep as needed.
  • Support setup, teardown, and movement of furniture or equipment for events and daily operations.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and maintenance materials.
  • Report larger repair needs and safety issues to the appropriate team members or vendors.
  • Follow all established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Provide responsive, courteous service to staff, visitors, and others using the facility.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in building maintenance, custodial work, groundskeeping, or a related field preferred.
