Position Overview:

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building and equipment maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in multiple fields (basic electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) Performs equipment preventive maintenance and repair. performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. This is a full time, non-exempt hourly position, reporting to the District Operations Manager.


Responsibilities – not all inclusive

  • Conduct a daily walk through of the facility, identifying repair/service needs.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
  • Performing preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment
  • Perform basic facility and structure repairs/maintenance (to include electrical, plumbing, HVAC routine maintenance, drywall, painting, pool maintenance, etc.)
  • Repairing machines and equipment.
  • Coordinate with the Club Development Team on major facility issues and repairs.
  • Partnering with the General manager and Operations Manager to discuss club maintenance needs.
  • Maintain the club’s Maintenance Log (UpKeep)



Requirements:
  • Proven maintenance experience
  • Skilled in the use of hand or power tools
  • Ability to take apart machines or equipment to remove or replace defective parts.
  • Experience in performing routine maintenance (HVAC, pools, saunas, etc).
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • This is a part-time position
