Job description

We are seeking enthusiastic Food & Beverage Associates -both full-time and part-time-to join our face-paced team. Roles include preparing short-order and snack-bar style foods, as well as supporting operations within our full bar and craft beer brewery. One year of experience in similar food service or beverage setting is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests as they enter the establishment.
Work on the daily preparation of food.
Take food and beverage orders from guests.
Follow recipe and presentation specifications as determined by the restaurant.
Ensure timely delivery and presentation of food and beverages to guests.
Suggest additional menu items to compliment a guest's meal.
Total guest check in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to serve alcoholic beverages responsibility.
Ability to work effectively with all personality types.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain safety and cleanliness of the workspace.
Check and maintain cooler storage areas for quantity and quality of food.
Ability to work in both the kitchen and bar area.
Prepare all foods and garnishes for consumption.
Ability to handle food safely.
Restock items when necessary.
Perform opening and closing duties.
Serve guests in friendly manner and encourage repeat patronage.
Restock drink station areas and condiments on tables throughout your shift and at the end of the night.
Leaving the kitchen in functioning and clean order for the next shift.
Perform all other duties as required.
Requirements:
High school Diploma or equivalent.
Must be 21 years of age
Subject to drug screen within 90 days of employment
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations correctly.
Ability to perform light physical tasks, exerting up to 25 lbs. of force on a frequent basis and up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis.
Ability to perform such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, walking, sitting and carrying.
Basic computer knowledge.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferences:
One-year bartending and/or craft brewery experience.
R-Serve.
One-year short order kitchen experience.
Serve-Safe certification.
